So after a week of being at daycare Katie brings home the sniffles. "It will build up her immune system" Adam says. Two days later Adam feels icky. Head hurts and his stomach feels squishy so he takes a half day off and goes home. I feel tired but it's Monday and what else is new. I'm ALWAYS tired...I'm a Mom! That night I went to Belly Dance and picked up the "snot monster" at G&G Eakins. After eating Arby's and getting everything ready for the next day I don't feel so well. I took some pepto and went to bed. Woke up at 2am, took some pepto and went to bed. Katie woke up at 6 and I went to feed her. I start to feel icky. Adam feels better but not at 100 percent. I went to get ready for work and Adam says "Don't get sick in the bathroom" What does my stomach hear "Get...sick..in...bathroom" So now I'm sick. Adam feels better by Wednesday...It takes me to FRIDAY to finally feel better.
This morning Adam's cell phone goes off. It's Grandma Barbara. "I'm sick. I'm not going to work. You'll have to pick up the baby" Yeah...guess what she got...The disease from the snot monster.
Other than that Katie is now 3 and a half months old (15 weeks old) today. She's still a happy baby in the morning and now can "talk" your ear off. She seems to enjoy daycare and they still love her there. She is trying to roll over but can't figure out that she has to move her arm to get over. She also can lift her head up very steady now. I miss her like crazy while I am at work but I know that this is good for her. I also know that I would probably go insane if I stayed at home all day.
I have spoiled the girls at work for bringing Katie in once a week. They now want me to take a day off so I can bring her over. I'm glad I decided to have Katie's Dr in the same building that I work in the next appointment is on Oct 12th.

2 Month Pictures
Got Katie's two month pictures done. Was just going to get the one pose for $9.95 but with about 95 pictures of her looking very cute and freaking adorable we got the four pose package again.

Two month Dr appointment
Katie now weighs 10 pounds 9 oz and is 23 inches tall. Everything looks great. Dr was happy that she is sleeping all night. Then she had four (yes 4) shots two in each leg. She was NOT HAPPY with that. She let me know by screaming for about 10 minutes. Her next appointment is on Thursday Oct 12, at 11:00.
We then went over to the office where she told Auntie LaShun everything
Auntie Shun watched Katie again while Velma, Debbie and I went out to lunch. After lunch Grandma Velma told Katie that she would take are of the mean nurse who gave her the shots.
Tomorrow we are getting her two month old pictures taken.

Back from Coal Valley IL
Satine has given Katie her stamp of approval which is basically putting her head up against Katie's and rubbing it. It's her way of saying "This is mine now"
So Katie and I went to see G&G Burgess last Thursday and got back yesterday afternoon. She was WONDERFUL on the plane. I fed her when we took off both times and when we landed I made sure that her NUK was in her mouth. She screamed and cried before we got on the plane and I tried to calm her down but I also mumbled "go ahead...get it all out now"
G&G Burgess LOVED her. She was a real character. My friends that I have known since JR High came over and just loved her.
Lastnight we went over to see Adam's parents and dropped off Katie to go to dinner. I'm so thankful that they live close by!
Went to the office today to see how everyone was. Velma (Mom of the group) and I were getting ready when (Auntie) LaShun took the carrier with Katie in it and moved it by her desk. "Are you going to babysit while (Grandma) Velma and I go out to lunch?" I asked. "Yep" She replied. "Okay I'll get her bag" Told her when she was fed and ran out the door before Katie started to cry. We got back early from lunch (because Velma wanted to hold Katie before she went back to work) and found out that she was passed around to everyone in the office and was smiling, laughing and talking to everyone. They still don't believe that the child does cry...:)

Leaving on a Jet Plane
Getting the last couple of things together for our trip. The plane leaves at 10:24a.m. and Grandpa Rick will be coming over to take us to the airport. Please give us positive vibes that everything goes smoothly. Will try and take lots of pictures and videos.
